Event Details

Train enthusiasts and train-curious visitors of all ages are invited to drop in to see model train set-ups and learn more about railroading from the National Model Railroad Association Midwest Region/Central Indiana Division. Guests can explore displays, view model train collections, and learn about different types of railroading and operations in the United States, both past and present.

The event also highlights the local history of trains in Indianapolis and the Fort Benjamin Harrison area, including the story of Fort Benjamin Harrison’s original train depot. A sensory-friendly hour will be offered from 10–11 a.m. with reduced noise, lighting, and crowd levels.
