American Sign Language Tours at A Merry Prairie Holiday

For guests who require American Sign Language (ASL) support, A Merry Prairie Holiday provides tailored ASL tours on December 9 and 16. The tours, starting at 6, 7, and 8 p.m., will include the services of an ASL interpreter to facilitate precise communication with historical interpreters. The journey will lead guests to landmarks such as the Golden Eagle Inn, where attendees can participate in a warming, song-filled campfire, and to a celebration at the Campbell House.

Further enriching the tour, a stop at the Turner family’s home enables an appreciation of nineteenth-century African American holiday customs. The finale, a Crankie show performance, brings global holiday traditions to life. The tour culminates in the North Pole Village where Santa and Mrs. Claus, assisted by an ASL interpreter, are eager to take memorable holiday selfies with guests.
