Browse a wide variety of fossils, cut and uncut gemstones, and minerals from all over the world at the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites’ 19th annual GeoFest, happening February 18-20, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Enjoy three days and three floors of rocks, minerals and fossil specimens! Whether you are a rockhound, a fossil enthusiast, or you just love crystals and gems, there is something exciting for you to discover. Partake in hands-on activities with community partners and museum staff … and even see REAL dinosaur skeletons!

Visitors will be able to purchase jewelry and crafts made from natural materials and specimens for display or for collecting and add one-of-a-kind objects to their collection. Plus, there will be activities and other family fun throughout the museum.






The first 50 member families who attend GeoFest will receive a GeoFest-themed prize!
GeoFest is included with museum admission. Tickets for scouts and their families are $7. Purchase admission tickets at the museum or online here.
