Junior Achievement Ourselves - intro to personal economics

This homeschool class provides an introduction to personal economics and the choices consumers make to meet their needs and wants. Through hands on activities it introduces the role of money in society while providing practical information about earning, saving, and sharing.

Students will be able to:
— Practice economics by making personal choices.
— Understand that people have basic needs and wants and the difference between them.
— Learn about ways to earn money.
— Understand the importance of saving and having a savings goal.
— Understand how to earn money to help others in the community.
