Young children can celebrate the season with Ms. Beth and the team during a 45-minute, hands-on holiday program at the Indiana Historical Society. Designed for ages 2–5, the session introduces Hoosiers’ ways of celebrating December holidays through interactive storytime, movement, and multisensory exploration. Children practice social-emotional, gross, and fine motor skills while engaging in playful, themed activities.
Families can choose from sessions on Thursday, December 4, Friday, December 5, or Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 9–9:45 a.m. (check-in begins at 8:45 a.m.). The cost is $10 per child or $5 for IHS member youth. One adult is included with each youth ticket; additional adults are $5 or free for members.
This program offers a gentle, educational way for young learners to explore holiday traditions and creativity. Museum admission is not included, but families are welcome to visit the History Center exhibits or Festival of Trees afterward with a separate ticket.
