Old Man and the River | Kitchener Public Library
Saturday, March 14, 2026 @ 2:00 pm
(ages 3 )

A heartwarming and hilarious tale for children and their grownups!

Performed without words to an enchanting musical score, WeeFestival’s acclaimed production Old Man and the River reveals a storybook world where rivers sing, trees laugh, and curious dragonflies come to visit.

RP (Relaxed Performance) | Sensory Friendly: The gentle, welcoming atmosphere, an interactive pre-show and post-show audience engagement as well as an on-line Social Story makes Old Man and the River suitable for children of all abilities and sensibilities.

TWINKLE | K-W Little Theatre
Saturday, April 4, 2026 @ 10:30 am & 1:00 pm
(ages 0-6)

TWINKLE is a dream-like camping adventure, where everyday objects change into extraordinary worlds. A backpack reveals a pond, a grassland, a starlit sky; umbrellas turn into sparkling constellations; shadows start to dance, and simple objects transform into friendly companions. With musicians ages 6–60, TWINKLE welcomes young audiences into a shared world of sound and imagination. The show moves easily between tenderness and joyful absurdity as our camper fishes for a star, sings under the night sky, awakens a sleepy sleeping bag, and parties with a Hot Dog. TWINKLE was developed with generous support from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, and the Toronto Arts Council.

Tickets available now on Eventbrite.

Let’s build our community of imagination!
