Event Details

The Taylor Center of Natural History welcomes members of the Indiana Astronomical Society for an evening of cataclysmic asteroids and out of this world observations. The evening will begin with an indoor presentation about the celestial events that led to the extinction of the dinosaurs AND attendees will get to be up close and personal with a real dinosaur fossil! The outdoor portion of the program will take place immediately after the indoor presentation and is geared towards beginners who want to learn how to use telescopes to observe celestial objects. Feel free to bring your own telescopes, snacks, and lawn chairs. The presentation will be held before stargazing, rain or shine. Hope to see you there!
