|Grab your compass, get ready to get your hands dirty, and navigate your way to a variety of topics led by our on-staff Naturalist. All field trips are led by Karen LaMere, our Resident Naturalist. Karen has a B.A. in Biology from Olivet College and an M.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife with an emphasis in Environmental Education from Michigan State University. She has over thirty years of experience as a Naturalist, Park Manager, Nature Center Director, and Interpretive Planner. She is also an Eco Tour Director, and has lead trips and tours both nationally and internationally.
-Great for Elementary Schools, Boy Scout troops, Girl Scout troops, daycares, church groups, and more.
-Designed for ages 4-10.
-Located in beautiful, scenic Central Park, home of the Monon Community Center.</li>
-$3 per kid, per program (min. 10, max. 30)
-Offered during the months of September through May. Pick a date and time based on your availability!
-Choose up to three nature programs that are each 1-hour in length.
-We can build-in time for a lunch break for your group.
-You get to bring 1 chaperone for every 10 kids attending at no charge!
-You will need to provide your own transportation.
-We are happy to reschedule your trip with at least one week advanced notice.
