Sprouts Cooking School

Launched by Indy mom Stephanie Drewry, Sprouts Cooking School has nailed the market for youthful cooking fun. Sprouts Cooking School offers single-session kid’s cooking classes, special family fun cooking classes, an exclusive MemberChef® program, and seasonal cooking camps. Children as young as 3 can participate in single-session classes and family classes. Children 6 and older have a wider selection of classes, with classes of every type.
Macaron Bar

Kids can learn how to make their own macarons at the Macaron Bar. This class is designed for kids ages 8 to 12 and offers an introduction to macaron making, as well as fun facts and games throughout. The class is completely hands-on, engaging and tailored to kids. Participants will go home with as many macarons as they can make!
Sur La Table Clay Terrace

Sur La Table’s hands-on classes are fun and educational, teaching kids aged 7 – 11 to be creative and confident cooks. Cooking classes are generally 1.5 to 2 hours long, and focus on recipes based on the theme of the class. Sur La Table also offers family fun classes where parents and children can cook together.
Jack’s Donuts of Carmel

Jack’s Donuts of Carmel offers donut-making sessions for kids, plus tours of their kitchen where all the magic happens … and yes, it really is as fun and unique as it sounds. $10 per child, paid when you get there. The fee gets you a behind-the-scenes tour of the kitchen, a chance to roll dough and practice cutting out donuts or donut holes, your own yeasted donut to decorate with frosting and sprinkles, your choice of a beverage from the refrigerated case and a dozen glazed donut holes to take home. Sessions are available only on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. They offer sessions in the late morning and early afternoon.
