There is plenty of space to watch the race on either side of the Central Canal between the Monon Trail Bridge, the Rainbow Bridge and College Avenue. The Canal Esplanade is now open on the north bank between College and Guilford and is a popular viewing spot to see the ducks reach the finish line Ducks are only $5 each. Increase your chances of winning by buying a paddling (6 ducks for $25). Ducks may be purchased with cash or debit cards. Credit cards not accepted due to Indiana State Law. You must be 18 years old to purchase a duck as the race is considered a gambling event.
