The 7th Annual Welcome to Fairyville event alights on the Nickel Plate Arts campus April 17-20, 2019, with most events free. See the most whimsical abodes during the Fairy Home Show, create fancy fairy crafts, attend a Fairy Tea Party and more.

Come to the festival for local food vendors, kid’s activities, over 125 exhibitors, live music, and a 5K run/walk. Better than driving downtown is to take IndyGo! Whether you plan to be on foot for the day or want to bring along your bike, IndyGo has you covered. If you bike and bus to Military Park we will watch your bike for free at our Pedal and Park area as you enjoy the festival or other downtown happenings. Just be sure to be back by 4 pm.

Jump, bounce, leap and hop to the Zoo for Easter Weekend to enjoy a fun-filled spring day and Easter-themed activities all weekend long! As you come in, look over the schedule card that is included with your Zoo map for all of the day’s special activities. Of course, it wouldn’t be Easter without an egg hunt, but here at the Zoo we add a “wild” spin on the tradition with NO BASKET REQUIRED. Join in the fun to find the large Zoo-themed eggs hidden throughout the Zoo and White River Gardens. Simply make note of the locations of at least 10 of the 19 eggs to receive a special prize from the White River Gardens Gift Shop.

Celebrate the Easter holiday with a family egg hunt, hippity-hoppity performances and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. With purchase of museum admission, continue the family fun by visiting the galleries to find 92 eggs the Easter Bunny left throughout the museum, or create your own unique Easter basket in Cardboard Engineering. Tickets can be purchased in advance at indianamuseum.org or by calling 317.232.1637, or at the door.

Kids ages 2-14 can participate in this event sure to add memories to your family’s spring traditions. Eggs will be spread across the Victory Field outfield. Gates open early at 11:30 AM. The egg hunt begins at 11:45 AM. Kids will be asked to pick up no more than 10 eggs so each child has a chance to participate. Kids also eat free on Sundays!
