Winnie the Pooh Day was created to celebrate the birthday of author A.A. Milne and takes place every January 18th. This year, we are celebrating with some off-trail exploration and play! Join us for an afternoon of Eeyore house building! Participants will meet at the Earth Discovery Center and take a short walk to the building area. Once there, we will cover a few safety guidelines and boundaries and then you’ll be able to design, collect natural materials from the forest floor, and construct your very own Eeyore house! We will build for approximately 40-45 minutes and then return to the Earth Discovery Center. This is a afternoon of off-trail play and exploration, so dress for the weather and get ready to have fun! Class is free, but gate entry is $5 for Marion County residents, $6 for non-residents.
